Brilliant vermilion red. Blooms are double petalled, have a pointed bud, and 25 large petals. It is a strong grower with dark shiny leaves. It has a slight, but pleasing fragrance. Stunning when mass planted in larger beds. Its height also makes it suitable as a cut flower for the vase.
