Alec's Red
Huge flowers, 45 petals, cherry red and very freely produced, the growth is strong with ample glossy foliage, which is very resistant to disease. Plant has upright growth. A top award winner and outstanding variety when it was first introduced, today it remains a best seller.

Awards: RNRS President's International Trophy 1970; Gold Medal 1969; Edland Fragrance Medal 1973; Certificate of Merit 1970.

Parentage: Fragrant Cloud x Dame de Coeur.

Available bare root annually from November to April.
