Heart of Gold
A beautiful large flowered Hybrid Tea rose of classical form. The colour of the scented blooms remind one of a warm ripe peach with the underside of the petals being a little lighter. There is an overall hint of bronze in the colouring, very attractive. The plant is bushy and upright with an abundance of large dark green very glossy leaves which are perfect foil to the colour of this rose. Highly disease resistant. "Heart of Gold" was specially commissioned to mark the occasion of the centenary of Rotary International in 2005, and to highlight the work of its official charity called "Rotary Foundation".

Awards: The Gold Medal and Prize for The Best Hybrid Tea Rose, Belfast International Rose Trials 2005; Hybrid Tea Certificate of Merit at Dublin, International Rose Trails 2005/2006.

Parentage: Queen Charlotte x Shirley Spain.

Available bare root annually from November to April.
